We can help you secure your next board role
We understand it’s difficult to know where to start. Or frustrating that you are applying for board roles but not making much headway.
Our approach is to arm you with a clearer plan, greater confidence, practical advice and a stronger CV. Having advised over 500 aspiring and experienced New Zealand directors, we’re confident we can help you too.
Option 1: Board Ready CV Review
If we are honest, some of the board CVs we see are terrible! Too long, too executive focused, too much focus on soft skills, no strong board persona ….
We provide a proven Board CV template & notes, share honest feedback on your current CV and review your reworked CV. It’s guaranteed to give you a greater chance of securing an interview.
This review is undertaken completely over email – we typically provide same day or next day service.
Option 2: One on One Session + Board Ready CV Review
In many cases a great CV needs to be accompanied by some practical, real world feedback and advice about how to actually secure your next board role: how to present your experience, where to focus your efforts, who you should be building relationships with, what professional development should be undertaken and much, much more.
After providing you a Board CV template & notes ahead of time, you meet with Simon online for an hour. He poses a number of questions and then provides honest feedback on your governance aspirations, suggest changes to your CV and gives you practical advice on how to secure board opportunities. He’ll also share research he has undertaken with five of New Zealand’s top board recruiters.
If you’re not happy with the service, we’ll refund the fee!
